Tensile tour, March 2011 part02

Wittenberg rail station, Germany
During our tensile tour that day after visiting UFO and Parking shade in Dessau, we went to Wittenberg a nearby town of Dessau, where we visited Wittenberg rail station. The tensile structure here was huge compared to others we just visited. It was huge in every aspect but connection details, corner plates attracted me because of their huge size.

Then in the evening we went to Leipzig airport rail station. The tensile membrane structure here elegantly designed. I specially liked its beautifully designed rain water duct. The membrane was PTFE coated glass fibre. Among the tensile structures we visited that day, Leipzig airport rail station was my favorite.
